Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
At SÍSÍ ROUGE HOME, we deliver "Gallery Quality" furniture to discerning clients worldwide. Our logistics strategy is engineered to protect the structural integrity of bespoke pieces during long-haul international transit.
1. ORIGIN & GLOBAL DESTINATIONS
-
Origin: All orders are dispatched from our high-end manufacturing hubs in Guangdong (Foshan/Dongguan) and Zhejiang, China.
-
Global Reach: We provide professional logistics to Europe, North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
2. ESTIMATED TRANSIT TIMES
Total delivery time consists of Production Lead Time + Shipping Transit Time.
-
Asia: 15 – 30 business days.
-
Europe & North America: 35 – 55 business days.
-
Middle East: 40 – 60 business days.
-
Note: Ocean freight schedules are subject to seasonal fluctuations and port congestion. We provide estimated windows but cannot guarantee exact arrival dates.
3. REINFORCED PACKAGING STANDARDS
To ensure your sculptural furniture survives the 15-60 day journey:
-
The "Crate" Standard: All large furniture and stone pieces are secured in custom-built, heat-treated reinforced wooden crates. This provides a rigid exoskeleton to prevent crushing or structural stress.
-
Bespoke Buffering: We utilize high-density foam and shock-absorbing internal wraps for all delicate edges and "Matcha Green" textures.
4. SHIPPING METHODS & "CURBSIDE" DELIVERY
-
Standard Delivery (DDU - Curbside): Our standard international shipping is "Curbside Delivery." This means the carrier will drop off the pallet/crate at the curb of your address.
-
Entry Access: You are responsible for moving the items from the curb into your residence. Please ensure you have adequate assistance and that the crates fit through your doors/elevators.
-
White Glove Upgrade: For an additional fee, premium "Room of Choice" or "White Glove" (assembly and packaging removal) services may be available in select regions. Please contact us for a specific quote before dispatch.
5. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES (DDU TERMS)
SÍSÍ ROUGE HOME operates on DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) terms for international orders:
-
Taxes & Duties: Your local government will assess import duties, VAT, or brokerage fees. These are not included in our checkout price and must be paid by the recipient directly to the local customs authority or the shipping carrier upon arrival.
-
Refusal of Payment: If a shipment is returned or abandoned due to unpaid local taxes, the customer remains liable for all shipping costs and any storage fees incurred.
6. TRACKING & COMMUNICATION
-
Bill of Lading (B/L): Once your container is loaded at the port, we will provide you with the shipping documents or a tracking number.
-
Tracking Frequency: Ocean freight tracking updates at major waypoints (Departure, Transshipment, Arrival at Port). It does not provide real-time GPS tracking like domestic couriers.
7. MANDATORY INSPECTION & TRANSIT INSURANCE
Every shipment is covered by comprehensive transit insurance. To protect your claim:
-
External Inspection: Check the wooden crate upon arrival. If damaged, note "Damaged upon arrival" on the delivery receipt before signing.
-
The Unboxing Video: To activate insurance, you must record a continuous video of the unboxing process.
-
Report Timeline: Any transit-related damage must be reported to [Your Email Address] within 48 hours of delivery with supporting media.
8. SHIPPING COST QUOTATIONS
Due to the oversized nature of furniture, shipping rates are calculated based on volume (CBM) and current freight market prices. For bespoke orders, our concierge will provide a custom shipping quote to ensure the most efficient and secure route for your specific destination.
